Brown cafe De Markt in Rotterdam, Netherlands

This small brown cafe in the Afrikaanderwijk in Rotterdam is an old worker cafe. Early seventies, large groups of Moroccans, Turks and Southern Europeans were recruited to work in the harbor. In order to offer them housing slumlords bought many buildings in the Afrikaanderwijk and leased it to the workers.
